Server Backup Procedure:
1. Hot Backup Image to 2nd Drive in Same Server every night.  (In case you just need a quick restore, or to get at a file that was accidentally deleted or version changed). 
2. Daily Backup to External Drive (Rolling Daily Backups kept so that you have a daily image from every day for the last week).
3. Upload Daily Backup Images to Cloud Storage for Disaster Recovery. (Because all drives fail eventually, and the office may burn to the ground at any time).
4. Weekly Hot Backup Image to 2nd Drive in Same Server every Sunday.  (Because I am paranoid).
5. Weekly Backup Image to External Drive (Because I am paranoid).
6. Weekly Backup Image to Cloud Storage (Because I am really very paranoid).

I may be paranoid, but I don't lose data, and my servers stay up.
