New High res download?

While playing yesterday I saw a message that said the high res was downloading.  Latter, when i restarted AH, it failed to install and i got a message to find a particular file and open it.  I did that but after reading another post I am not sure if I got that right.

Is there a way to confirm I have the right high res pack installed?

If you do not have the correct version, the game will automatically download and install the right one for you.  If you do not get the message in an online arena about it, AND you do have high resolution textures enabled (must use 1024, or higher in the Video Settings "Maximum Texture Size" value) then you have the correct version installed.

On this same theme, every time I open AH it says it needs to d/l the hi res packs. This is the fourth time today it has downloaded the pack. I even installed it three times (all three i had to manually select the update). First: I can't run hi res on my little laptop. Second: I recall this was a bug a while ago, but I am unable to get this resolved. Is there anyway I can tell the game I don't want or need the hi res pack?
