Being more specific, is HiTech gonna create another product, same type game, as current, soon. Or are y'all gonna ride the current game into the grave?

I briefly beta tested WoP, not the type of game I wanted to see. Small server player numbers and super PC eye candy.
It really is about live time for me, those decisions made based on immediate threat, involving ww2 planes.
Less client prediction/ lag comp, smaller packet sends more often........................ I know your networking is good, but, make it better, please. lol
I want it to feel like offline mode, immediate, there.

Right now the packet latency is dynamic, with the fastest being one packet every 250ms.  They are as small as they can get.  There is not much more we can do in that area.  We are, again, handicapped by the Internet.

Going to a smaller latency will cut a huge portion of players out of the game and would not result in any measurable gains due to the Internet itself.

Aces High is always evolving.  There is little code left from the original game and that is mostly utility code. It will continue to evolve.

I would love to see a flight simulator using modern aircraft with HiTech's flight engine.  How cool would it be to fly a 737 on one of the AH maps?

That shouldn't be a major problem to do. After all, we have seen several non-WW2 aircrafts airborne through the years. A 737 shouldn't be more difficult to build than a pumpkin - at least not if you don't care about the accuracy of the flight model. :t

And no, I will not forgive the personal attack.  30+ years in programming, starting with Z80 assembly language.

That computer right in front of Paul Allen, the Zenith?  That had a Z80 in it, and its the one I used as a kid growing up.  Unfortunately I learned in college that I wasn't a huge fan of programming.  My parents still have one of these in the basement, I was reminded of it recently by this picture which was recently in the news.

This is the Captain.  We have a lil' problem with our entry sequence so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.
