Meh.  One in 365 chance isn't that low.

Also, yes, if you want to think of things in threes the ricin letters sent to Mississippi Senator Wicker and President Obama might count.  Apparently that guy was a conspiracy nut who thought they were conspiring to sell body parts on the black market.

That picture is after an oil refinery explosion in February 2008.

What a mess. How some plants are allowed to be where they are amazes me. Reminds me of Danvers MA explosion. Way too close to homes.

The plant was there before the houses. So the question should be: why were the houses allowed to be built so close to the plant?

My favorite industrial accident.  A coastal lake got flushed into a massive working salt mine.  Nobody hurt but barges and houses got flushed and a tidal river flowed the wrong way.
