How do I move my controllers setup files?
« on: April 29, 2013, 09:17:09 AM »
My old Aces High installation is the version 2.28 .  I have not played in awhile. My 2.28 patch is in a separate directory.

I just downloaded the current version 2.30 from here:

My controllers are CH and my controllers' setup uses the CH Control Manager.

What files need to be substituted?

How do I swap the files?

I have not created a new account, yet.  The 2.28 installation will not update, so I just reinstalled it.

Thanks

All your stick and view configuration files, for the game, are stored in the games "settings" folder.  You should be able to copy that folder over to the new installation, remove the "video8.cfg" file, then start the game.

As far as the CH Control Manager goes, I have no idea how to get that config over.

That worked nicely.

My CH Control Manager only required me to click its desktop shortcut to activate it.  My custom profile for Aces High was already set from a few years ago.  My older version of the game had the controllers pre-configured in the Settings folder.

Thank you.
