If 425mph is the same as 452mph (it isn't), then yes, it is the same plane.

We don't need the Bf109G-10.  It is inferior to the Bf109K-4 and it entered service in Nov. 1944, after the Bf109K-4's service entry in Oct. 1944.

What we need is a Bf109G-6/AS or Bf109G-14/AS, preferably the former.

Actually no it isn't.  The G10 we had ingame back about 05 or so used the same FM as the present K4.

The real G10 would be about 20 to 25 mph slower and IIRC has a slightly lower FTH.

I would like to see a G10 added but not before we get AS versions of both the G6 and G14. The G10 entered service after the K4 so it wouldn't be all that useful for events, except to give a 20mm option.

Agreed, absolutely.

The AS versions have higher critical altitudes.  In other words they can actually fight with American fighters and intercept American bombers at 25-30k rather than wallow about waiting to be killed.  The only Bf109 in the game that can do that right now is the Bf109K-4, but it is too late for most scenarios, which makes it hard to do good 8th Air Force vs Luftwaffe settings.

Zac, wiki isn't all that usefull when looking up specific versions of certain A/C.

Try some dedicated 109 sites,a simple google of BF109 should net you many results!

when you do it,look for the ASM engined 109's,that will really put a party in your pants.

Yes please. Also a 109E-7. Would represent an E-7, and a 109E-4 AS, IIRC.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.
