Uploading a previously uploaded terrain (with or without changes) using its last host folder, the server's terrain files don't work after the upload.

Repeatable by two terrain builders.

Create a Custom arena to insure the server's current version of the terrain is working.

Upload the new or old version of the terrain. It will build normally, and it will upload normally with no complaints.

Create a Custom arena. The game's auto download shows the new version downloading but when it completes the download, instead of entering the arena, the game's starting splash screen comes up. The custom arena can't be entered by the arena creator or anyone else.

I attempted an update, then I attempted to correct the problem by uploading the original. No joy.

The other player attempted to upload one of his working terrains without making any changes.

Neither terrain is usable now.


I note that Fester reports a slightly different (related?) problem on April 7th.

AvAwintr terrain is now "broken" after re-uploading to the server.  No changes were made to this terrain from the version that was already on the server before the server change.  I did this to see if it was on Easy's end or the server end.  I experienced the same thing he describes above (and now have a broken terrain on the server  ).

The custom arena spawned normally.
