It's all about where you choose to race.

Never race where there is the possiblility of traffic and pedestrians or any inhabited buildings that could be hit.

It's no more difficult than driving a tank from one field to another without using the pansy "ezspawns" we have here in game.

If you're too lazy to find a track or a place where there is near zero possibility of involving innocents in a wreck, then you deserve to be executed by the relatives of the people you injure.

Well...This Eclipse doesn't exist in real life, but it does in a game.

The closest track around here is the one at Sunnyview Expo center, and that's open all year round from what i'm told. Its a great track yet these idiots cant seem to wrap their heads around it.

this is my house, and we have people come around the corner at about 65-70 and the speed limit is 35.  I have told cops to come sit somewhere here, but per the usual they dont :lol  we had a zip splat car with a fart can last summer kept coming around the corner doing e brake slides or some stupidness, so I heard him coming grabbed a 6 foot piece of steel and met him on the corner.  I got him to stop and told him if I ever catch him coming through that fast again I was going to put the bar through his car. :devil  needless to say now when he drives by its usually around 25 or so.  now we got a bunch of new punks we gotta break :devil

We used to have a jerk down the street that was actually clocked doing 65 or our street (25mph).   I feigned deliberately running out in front of him, but stayed on my lawn.   He stopped, got out, started flashing gang signs and hit the ebonics.   The idiot didn't realize he had a cop on his six the entire time, until I smiled and pointed at cruiser.   He received four citations that day.   Reckless Driving, Speeding, Running a Stop Sign and driving through the subdivision to avoid a traffic signal.

The cop walked over to me and asked why I did that.   I told him: "Look right there."  So he saw my son and friends playing and shook my hand.   He also thanked me for stopping the car.   He was parked one street over filling out a report when the jerk ran the sign.   But saw him turn into the sub initially, then gunned it right past a marked car.  He lost his license and deserved to.

video tape these guys and send it to the local news channel.
They call it "common sense", then why is it so uncommon?

While I have a strong inclination to put out spike strips and nail 2x4s to the street, that will get the cops to come after you :)  Crazy world.

Go to the town council, tell them to do their jobs and get the streets cleaned up.  Don't ask the media to do what you have the right and responsibility to do. If they can't get their cops to get these kids, then get new elected people, they like hearing stuff like that.

Yep.  Start here first.   Then escalate to the County and finally the State level if need be.    Cut no corners and you will see some results.

Hypotheticaly speaking here....

A paintball gun which has a large ammo capacity and high rate of fire.

Paintballs.

A freezer.

A couple of rounds from a roof top. Hold trigger for long burst will give away postion. Small short burst.

Here is the trick to make this work. The next night they do this, take a position on a rooftop in a different location far away from the last postion as possible to evade capture.

Profit!

Hypothetically speaking of course.

dont forget to hypothetically also call an attorney.  and of course hypothetically speaking if somebody calls in that there's a shooter in a rooftop, police may show up for sure.  along with a swat team.  of course it's all hypothetically speaking.

yes the paintball idea can lead to TONS of trouble.  I cant remember what it is called but, if you shot the car and they crashed you would be charged with making them crash yada yada yada.

Heres how you fix your problem:

First, you gotta find a section of their route where there is both a curve, and some bushes or similar cover by the road that you can dive into. Figure out if they have a pattern for when they race, so you disrupt your sleep as little as possible.

Either on a night when they are racing, or every night, dress up in all black, and paint your hands/face black as well. Hide out on that corner on the side of the road opposite your cover, listening for the distinctive sound of stupidity as it approaches at high speeds.

When they're getting closeish, run and toss a couple of these out on the road, sprint through to the other side, and dive into the bushes  :noid.

You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.
