I would be more concerned if players did not complain.

Do not get me wrong.  In an ideal world, it would be nice to be able to talk about what we do on a regular basis.  Fact is there are people who cannot deal with that type of information without building and creating monsters of all shapes and sizes, otherwise known as drama.

It is worth noting that plans do change.  Priorities are altered.  This is a very dynamic business.  Saying we are working on one thing only to have to shift gears due to some other influence and trying to quell the uprising would take enormous effort.  There is no fault in this.  It is just the nature of people.

Just know this.  We do what we need to do to make this game fun and challenging for all.  That is what we do everyday.

Putting on my "Community Manager" hat for a minute.

I vehemently oppose this.  Why?

The first time anyone from HTC chimes in with what we may be working on, is the second that a hundred players will come in, complaining about what we are doing, as they think we should be doing something else.

It would be a nightmare to manage that noise.  We already have enough negative input on the bulletin board, this would just add another source for people to complain even more.

That is a reality which cannot be worked around.  Nothing wrong with the wish, but the unintended consequences could be dire.[/u]

I don't know, I think the technology has matured and expanded leaps and bounds, you won't really know if it'll handle the load until you actually punch a written speech from HiTech through the spellchecker. :devil

I agree with scuzzy, besides no one really knows how the next vehicle or plane is going to pan out until its out there being used. In LWA you see just about every plane and vehicle being used. There is a niche for every gv, plane and player. I have seen them run a poll in the past and that got everyone excited, but in a positive way.

I have probably left more than twenty posts for more planes in WWI.  :D
Maybe someday we will see a couple more released in a future update.

Oddball:
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?
