The people that competed in that race dedicate thier lives to thier love of the sport and a long season on the road away from family. Though they make it safer danger is never far away.
Denny Hamlin got back in the #11 and started the race but turned the car back to Brian Vickers so he could continue recovery on an injury to his spine at a race earlier in the year.
The 1st and 2nd finishers David Ragan and David Gilliland are teammates for Front Row Motorsports. A small team in comparison to the Giants Rousch, Hendricks, RCR and others.
It's good to see Talent can still compete with $$$$.
The finish is not without controversy though as the lineup that was determined after a late multi car pileup put the 34 of David Ragan in 8th instead of 10th.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. caused the late caution by trying to make it four wide, scaping the wall and knocking a car sideways into the field of closely crowded cars. However he flew away unscathed.
