The 1st two look actually most ´40 era town with red roofs. Others look more like modern cities.

3 & 4 look best visually though.

I agree with janjan - the first set looks like WWII era. The other sets look modern - modern era U.S.

I don't think you see tar and gravel roofs too much in WWII era Europe - is mostly red clay tile or some such. But generally darker as there isn't much summer heat load from what I understand.

Also I think old European cities tend to have more roads at odd angles which the first set models nicely. The rectilinear roads in the last two also say 50's-modern era U.S. city.

Agreed, janjan.

It's like Italian town, isn't it?

Yes, like Italian town
In fast the 1st set was that I prefer also because look as a european town but...

1)At low altitudes look very bad
2)In motion make some flickering effects

So at now I choose the 2nd that offers the better result in motion at all altitudes also if this semble too L.A.

please check also  http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/Forum1/HTML/008692.html  for more recent images

Stay tuned for imminent release of this terrain to test yourseft in motion

p.s. I still working on 1st set
