The Few is a great squad of Euro players if one was looking to join something with euro friendly times. Good pilots and classy attitudes if you think you'd fit in with that criteria, ghostie, I'd recommend giving them a go

it is a concern when one of your members blatantly trolls a recruitment thread.    Now I wouldn't blame ghostie for one second for doing his own thing and ignoring both squads.

I for one have had enough of Zack's gibberish.   Yes he is a cad but it gets old after the 100th time.

Getting a little tired of your gibberish too Bruv. This:-

To think leaving the few and having more in his own group madness I tell you.  :old:

...also gets tiring after the 100th time.

keep your "gentleman" boy on a leach and we'll be fine.

My my my, what an internet tough guy you are. Also what a fantastic representative of your squadron.

Firstly, he isn't MY 'boy', he's my friend and associate and can do whatever he wants and secondly I'm not interested in being 'fine' with you. Why would I choose to associate further with someone as inherently disrespectful as you apparently are.

Let me just clear up one misassumption once and for all. The GFC keeps its own council about what we consider acceptable behaviour. You have NO leverage on us in any way and we are not interested in your assumptions about us including the number of members. Nor are we interested in your value system. That should have been abundantly clear when we left in protest precisely over this point.

Ghostie, elke squadron heeft een eigen waardesysteem. Ik stel voor dat u eerst op zoek naar compatibiliteit op dit gebied. Kijk uit. Succes.

If this were actually true then this thread wouldn't have devolved into an ugly little slagging match

It would probably be in the best interests for all concerned if you were to try and practice what you preach - then such unpleasantness could be avoided in future and we can all get along swimmingly ;)

I know I personally enjoy having GFC members pop onto Vent for a chat or to wing with us every now and then, really wouldn't want any stupid forum jibber jabber to sour things  :salute

You can thank your entirely disrespectful squadmate for that.

We aren't preaching anything, that's your continuing assumption. Unpleasantness can also be avoided if your boss respects our autonomy and stops trying to poach members back into The Few because he can't tolerate another (mostly) British / European squadron.

At this point Mr. Coomz, getting along swimmingly doesn't interest me.

I must have seen a different thread to you, from my (possibly biased?) perspective it looked like the blame lies elsewhere. Perhaps SirNuke should have responded in kind with some sort of snide, sniping post at you and your squad, instead of speaking his mind? Would that have been more respectful in your opinion?

We aren't preaching anything, that's your continuing assumption. Unpleasantness can also be avoided if your boss respects our autonomy and stops trying to poach members back into The Few because he can't tolerate another (mostly) British / European squadron.

If, as dirtdart says, the GFC isn't a squad, then how can Bruv be trying to poach anyone?

I can't speak for our CO...but if I had to hazard a guess, it would be that what he can't tolerate is in fact multiple instances of someone from the GFC trolling recruitment type threads, here and in the Squadrons forum *shrug* But what do I know?

At this point Mr. Coomz, getting along swimmingly doesn't interest me.

Genuinely sorry to hear that...although I suppose the alternative is taking the gloves off, stopping all this pansy backbiting and sniping and having a proper barney...and you know how I enjoy those kinds of shenanigans ;>  Every cloud...
