Being as I started in WW-I flight sims, I have a special place in my heart for the biplane.   +1
I'll fly the 1939-41 FSO scenarios in them anytime!

     I'm guessing all those new Oscar pilots would sure be disappointed by all those  slow, turny 2 wingers clogging up the stallfight  :D

I was thinking exactly this Ki43 v Gladiator would be interesting :joystick:

It wouldn't be interesting at all, the Oscar would dominate the Gladiator in a fight as it would be able to dicate the fight of its choosing at will.

i could have sworn someone said something similar about the buffalo...for every person that flies a plane to its strength in a fight (like you, shuffler and cobia), there are 10 that get greedy and get sucked in to fighting on the other guys terms. the gladiator wouldn't fare any worse than the i-16.
