Tonight's mission in MLW arena is a reenactment of a 8Th Air Force mission to Schweinfurt, Germany "ball bearing factories". All are welcome, VOX is 171 and Pilot brief begins at 8:45PM, EST. The mission will feature the B-17G and 51D ponies and in cockpit communications between crew members and air to ground and ground to air communications between air traffic control and crews in flight. (While the 8Th maintained strict radio silence during missions, I add dialog between crew and ground just to add a little atmosphere to the mission)

Tuesday is also JG11 Squad Night.

Should you Gentlemen be hitting the Knights tonight...I can offer an all German, all prop driven OPFOR.  That is if you are looking for the action.

That just makes it more interesting! To have only German a/c attacking as was the case in WW2 would be interesting......getting tired of shooting down 51's, jugs and fork-tailed devils!

Agreed.  Of course I have no control over what others in the MA do, but as far as the 15 -20 of us tonight...We'll be looking for the BarDar.  Nice tight staffel of 109 and 190's for you to plink at.

Thank you for the complement, but it takes a lot of other guys helping out to make a mission like we had last night....glad you enjoyed it! It was a blast! We had about 18 fighters escorting the 33 bombers that were in the mish and the Knights threw up a grand defense. We lost one bomber element of three aircraft due to player AFK and lost 3 other drones from 3 different 3 plane elements. Great time had by all!
