Video "Buffering" Problem

 :airplane: I am having a problem playing videos! When I play one, it plays for a few seconds, then pauses, then plays a few more seconds and so forth until it is complete...takes me 3 times as long to view video as it use to. The little gray line which is supposed to be in front of the round button does not extend out in front like it should. I can pause the thing for 10 or 15 minutes, go back and watch it with no problem.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I can do to fix without taking to shop?

If I were you I'd check your connection. It could be your router, a bad wire, or your internet service provider. On the other hand you could have malicious software on your machine that is chewing up your bandwidth.

if you're streaming videos, that problem is usually connectivity. sometimes it can be a problem with whatever site you're streaming off of. or, like Edog said, could be malware on your system.

try running a pingplotter session to the site you're streaming from. if you don't see any issues in pingplotter, try looking for malware on your system.

Lately I've been noticing problems with some youtube videos. Not all, and not depending on the picture quality or other bandwidth hogs. I've been thinking it might be due to some of the videos residing in servers situated in areas where recent nature incidents have reduced the amount of usable connections.

:airplane:  As usual about computer, didn't understand cutting back from Comcast hi-speed, to ATT hi speed, is two different animals....going back to Comcast...LOL
