That would have involved his being self aware enough to acknowledge his mistake with the flood of excuses and justifications as to why he deserves a different set of expectations than everyone else.

Or maybe Fester falls into the realm of "celebrity" so he can run amok and not be held accountable because he has superior hand/eye co-ordination to 99% of the rest of us.
So in the bell curve of hand/eye co-ordination he's way out on the right, though it would appear in the graph of "usually acceptable behavior" he is so far left that he lives next door to the y axis.
Therefore the other 99.9% front up with $15 every month and give reciprocal respect (for the most part) whilst this guy can rip into someone he has never met and mock the passing of another mans life partner and mother of his children.
If you ever have cause to wonder why this simulation is not enjoyed by a larger group of enthusiasts, wonder no more and why this BBS is in the state it is that is answered as well.
Combine the Midway posts to the other vitriol that spews out and add a touch of "untouchable status" for a sure fire success.
But if you're still stuck for a wothwhile comment you can just click a little face rather than add.
I interact with a lot of funny,articulate and engaging people in AH. But you have to cut your hands on a lot of oyster shells before you can dig out a pearl.

Well, you pay your respects in whatever way you're comfortable with... and I won't call you mean names either.

Moments of silence allow for contemplation and silent prayer to reflect on SD's tragedy, his strength, and Fester's inexcusably hurtful words to him.  It is my way of honouring the memory of his wife and hoping for the best as he and his children continue on.  As well as hoping Fester and others with similar words in their minds give it appropriate consideration as well.

I will say flying in the MA silently thinking about SD and his family has certainly opened my eyes and mind to appreciate the people behind the joystick, and what potential challenges they have faced, are facing, or could potentially face.  It's also caused me to dedicate more time going forward to improving my in-game fighting skills and less talking smack to or with people like you.
