Just got back in from the Dominican Republic. My youngest daughter had a Destination Wedding there. I guess it's the latest fad in weddings.
There's a drink there called Mama Juana. I guess it's part wine, from the bottom of the barrel, Part Rum (Maybe lots of Rum), and part some kind of root. There may be something else in it. It has an odd taste for sure and potent.
My youngest daughter who had planned the event since last November must have been stressed something terribly. I mean getting 34 guests to travel that far, the wedding, the dinner events, the trips, the scuba diving, and the logistics.
On the last day we went for a boat ride. It was just incredible! There was music, dancing, and swimming in a cove. Well the Captain, Jorge', Started toasting with with Mama Juana. There was toasts to the Bride, Bridemaids, Groom, Best Man, and so it went. Well I think my youngest daughter toasted to everyone she got looped, really looped.
The next day we were on our way to the airport when someone brought up the Mama Juana. The Shuttle driver, "MAMA JUANA, Ai Yi Yi!
