Good Ole 70s and 80s
« on: July 14, 2013, 11:45:32 PM »
Television pilots that never went to series.  Creativity but no budget.  Still would've been fun to watch as a kid.

Last pilot has Leonard Nimoy.

Before Lost was the show of the new Milenium about castaways and after Gilligan's Island that birthed the concept of castaways, there were these gems from the 70s.

One show had a Harlem Globetrotter.

I always wished for a series where two good friends are jumping cars, running away from the law, always getting the hot chicks with short cuttoffs, still living at home, blowing things up with explosive arrows, and just having a good ol' time.

Stacy Keach starred in a Quinn Martin production called "Caribe" which was a kind of miami vice but in 1975 which was long before the rest of the world knew what was going on in miami.

Great idea.  Just throw in a short middle aged man with so much money he wants to run an entire county for grins and giggles.  Of course, a character like that might need an assistant with no brains and all snickers.
