WIP: CV-12 USS Hornet 1944

   The USS Hornet that began the war was sunk in the Battle of Santa Cruz in October 1942. To honor the sunken ship (the 7th bearing the name), CV-12 the USS Kearsarge, was renamed the Hornet (the 8th).  The Hornet served the rest of the war, and took place in every major Pacific battle.  From 1943 to 1945, she went through a few different paint jobs, from Navy gray, to at least three types of dazzle camo.  I chose the one I like the most. She served up though the Viet Nam war and today is a museum, with the name USS Kearsarge still stamped on her keel hull.  When finished, it will see action in the AvA & possibly the SEA.  :salute

They should release texture packs like sounds for the MA

Beautiful job Ranger.

5pointoh, the only way for it to get into the MA would be if it was included as an integral part of a new MA terrain. IIRC Fester did some new ship textures once with one of his MA terrains. The problem is that textures add enormously to the download size of the terrain and HTC like MA terrains to be kept small if possible.

Looks great, and although I like the planes you used in your screen shots this one is actually correct for the Hornet.
