Several ideas for AH

Not a coder, but I think the C47 would benefit from a Horsa/Waco option. Either as cargo option, or gunner option that must be done on the runway, or some way of linking C47 and Horsa/Waco/German Glider pilots together, maybe using the wingman command, I don't know.

I would also like to see Merchant Convoys, basically mobile strats that can be hunted and attacked, could just be a modified CV group perhaps? The nme can plot routes for convoys like CV groups and can choose to defend them or not. A successful convoy would result in resup of the static strats or port destination. A convoy destroyed would not affect the static strats but not resup it either and the wait time for the next convoy would increase.

I would also like to see the Handley Page Halifax bomber, which was equally as important as the Lancaster in WW2 to the RAF, RCAF and RAAF.

I would love to see Fairey Swordfish, Bristol Beaufighter, Italian Bomber.

I would love to see Allied LST, where a player could take several GV pilots and gunners across water. Also the American LCI and the British/Canadian armoured LC Assault craft. (LCA). It would be fun to have smoke markers and T.I as a cargo option for bombers and for defenders to use smoke as well, but I can imagine this being a lagfest.

These ideas should keep you going.

This is a fantastic game.

The only way I can see them being useful is if the ground game were expanded to include more varied troop types. IE, a Waco glider could deploy an artillery unit with a 75mm howitzer.

But yeah, with the way the game currently works gliders would just be big, easy targets that serve no practical purpose.

I like the jeep/artillery idea, but I can imagine noobs taking 100s to the strats noe, if it was not a perkie or something.

Yeah, I'd love to see a convoy system in AH, it would be a great idea to see them leave from ports just as task groups do, an idea I can easily imagine being in AH;)

Way cool though if it required an attached pilot like a bomber gunner.  Both would have troops for two chances to take the town.  Just plain slick.
