There are 10 kinds of people in this world; those who understand binary and those who don't.

I am glad to see they are building a new model for the 2013 World Jet Masters.

The first model they built was for the 2011 World Jet Masters.

 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIsvW_yhhjs

The cost to design develop and build the first model was 500,000 euro.

I haven't heard the cost of model #2 yet. I suspect it may be slightly less as they may have been able to use some
of the previous CAD work from model #1.

I read it on the internet, so it must be true !

Seems to act like a real aircraft.  A lot of those models seem too finicky.

Absolutely fantastic. I cant believe where this has gone to. Who knows what the future holds for this amazing hobby? Is it even to be called a "Hobby" anymore or just "flight science" and "airplane building"?

All you need to do to see the future is look at the drone programs of the military.  They will give you plenty of insight into where this has gone to.

As with model rocketry I foresee a near future of strict legal limitations for this hobby as well.
