The recession is ending both in the US and Europe.

This could be a debatable claim for some….but I won’t quibble over it.  ;)

Personally, I’d love to see the Rogue Gryffon’s squad back in the game.  A friend of mine was the XO and he was to blame for pulling me into the “Crack Habit madness” that is AH back in 2005.  Sadly, it appears the Gryffons all wandered off the reservation.

I see a new squad, the “Rogue Griffons”, was founded with the original founders consent…but they play World of Tanks and that other WWII air combat game with "better" graphics, mouse aiming and an arcade flight model.  :frown: :(

NOTE:  Post "fixed".   :D

what is this???
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3Gbzy8RJ1c

Most recent con plane, it was the last one held (maybe circa 2011?!  :uhoh ), and also doubled as kind of a promo for the then-not-yet released WWI arena and associated aircraft, as well as the recently updated and released damage modeling.

Anyone heard of talks from HTCs of the next AH con?  I would love to swing it into my busy schedule.  I got a calander full yesterday when I went to work at the hangar last night after work (prop seal on a neighboring wing's AN2 (a new favorite, the plane is just funky, hilarious and fun to fly in)) - imminently is Big Bear Air Fair (CA) this weekend, and then the big ones comming up with the wing are Reno (NAR, NV, 50th anniv!) next month and then there's Midland, TX in October.

I thought the Claw was the last one.

Many nights I winged Mathman in Hellcats.   He taught me a lot in the first few years of playing this game.   Last winged him around 2008 when he had a 2 weeker trial.

Mathman was an artist in the hellcat - no doubt.

I've been planning to join the game for some weeks now, let's see...

Not a bad idea at all.  :aok We've done this in a minor scale during last winter with somewhat of a success, in a worldwide scale the fun will certainly be, err, bigger.

well there is a Hurricane mk 1 with a Finnish skin, that needs as many willing volunteers to defeat the Hun.  September 7th + 4 weeks.

sign up on AH events website!!

I thought the Claw was the last one.

I think the claw came the year before, but maybe the year after.  It's been a couple years since the last (I think?). For certain though I remember thesuperfokker coincided with the WWI arena development, so if we can lock that down we can find about what year it was.
