I like the feel of the thrustmaster over the other brands.........hope they don't change it.

I've been flying without working hat switch, spiky elevators, and throttle but was able to replace the bad potentiometers and micro switches when I found parts from a 10 year old thrustmaster top gun stick sitting in a box.

I was able to solder in the 10 year old microswitches for the hat and replace pots on my 1 year old stick and it's as good as new now.

Kind of like a kid getting heart transplant from a geezer but everything worked great.

All of the pots were the same value except for the throttle and I'll bet you can get them from mouser or digikey for a couple of bucks each.

I like the Thrustmaster T.16000M on my first test flight. The only thing that bothers me is the hat switch is only 4 way instead of 8 way. At least as far as I can tell.

good choice. add a CH throttle and saitek pro pedals and you'll be set

From what I understand, this is an old school design. But It's a basic  design and is cheap at $100
Had no other joystick.

You paid a $100 for a FS Pro?  PT Barnum was correct, there is a sucker born every minute.
