Any chance of the Med terrain?

I would love to see a strat terrain with the Italian planes available.

Be nice to have strat in any form in the CT... dunno when we will see that though.
The current med terrain, involves flight times that won't go over well.  Bases too far apart.  Perhaps a new one...?

a new "italian" map would be nice.


say from sciliy (or N tip of africa) to austria. That way we would have a large med for med N.africa scenario.

and a smaller "italian centric" with more detail to do  "Invasion of Italy" and b24 raids over the alps.

Disable every field but the ones on and withing strikeing distance of malta. Then the fight will be concentrated enough to acctually attract some intrest.

Could we have that MED map in the CT arena, with Bases for British, American, German, & Italian Planes, could we also have Convoys (barges) to destroy.
Is this to much to ask for?, I hope not,

Med map is the oldest player created map.  It first needs to be brought up to 1.08 standards and then submitted to HTC for thier approval.

It's possible, but with no players in the CT not on the top of the list.

Just to let you guys know:

There is a new Med map being made right now by Sundog.

It is intended to have naval convoys, trains, road convoys, etc.

Malta is going to be done much larger scale than the last Med. map.  There should be 3 airfields, a port, city, etc. on it.

Sicily will also be done in great detail.

There will be TOD scenarios for this map, and I hope it will also be available for the CT Theater.
