get rid of cv auto ack

just get rid of the cv auto puffy ack.  It does no good against the buffs which are the cv killers in the game, and its just annoying for people trying to furball by the cv

Easy answer, let them come to your base and furball over your base and not in their ack or puffy.

If you're getting hit by the auto ack on the cv, you're in a vulchers/vulture's position. I suppose you could have chased a con and he ran back to his ack, but you followed knowing what was going to happen...

its been much better since they reduced the puff ack range, now I can actually avoid it

Too many times. However, the OP is cv auto ack. I assume it's there for what I see is the same reason it exists on a base and effective to 8.5 - to allow ppl to take off. I also assume a lot of ppl think it is there to run to, which it can be useful for, but isn't very chivalrous. Of course, neither is picking in a Tempest and then running as soon as E is equaled, but "chivalry" and the aforementioned are seen regularly around here.  :bolt:

Still think CVs shouldn't be allowed closer than 25 miles of an enemy base.

Modeling shallows would be nice - just not sure how much effort that would entail and
how many other worthwhile wishes would be back-burnered.

As far as running to CV ack goes, can't friendly ack kill you?  I believe I lost a wing on a P51b yesterday to "friendly" CV ack.
