Did you ever have a sortie where you just know that plane way over your head is going to pick you at 500 mph while you're down on the deck fighting someone else?  My hunch was that he would and after seeing his name in the buffer, I damn well knew he would.  Not this time though.   :devil

The only thing is here. . . you have tons more E. I mean I don't care what your E advantage is, just saying no way was he able to 'pick' you in that situation. Looks like he strayed just a little too far from home plate there, hehe

Sorry, let me clarify.  If I engaged the lower La7, the fight would likely progress to the deck until I could slow him down enough for a tracking shot.  Then the F4U would drop down like a Peregrine falcon.  So I figured I would rather face the F4U and at least prevent him from getting me in the aforementioned way.  The P-47 guy was part of a posse that swarmed me the sortie before, so it was fun to reverse him too.
