« on: August 23, 2013, 01:13:21 PM »
I missed the last 3-4 updates and the skins, I thought we once had a program that would auto download skins, is it still available? it seems when I alt tab it wont download the skins I have to stay in the game.

I think he is referring to the in-game auto-downloader, which still works when the game is minimized, but it is slower.

If the game spun as fast as it could, while minimized, your computer would act frozen.  The game is frame rate capped when it is minimized to allow your computer to do other things, which is why it runs slower than when it is full screen.

Didn't we have an external program that downloaded the skins rather then have to be in game? That was what I was referring too, however I will just enter the main arena and sit AFK with the game on.

We had test program we were testing ideas with, for a brief period of time.  It was never meant to be a stand alone program.

butcher you might have same problem I had a while back.

the auto download skins box in hangar would not stay checked and would uncheck itself right after checking it and leavinig the hangar.

I had to manually go into the settings and turn it on. if I remember right I had to change it form a 0 to a 1 or somthing.

This was it thanks Fester, I guess from not using the game for a while my PC somehow made the Aces high folder restricted which locked all the files - unrestricting and changing it to "1" worked, I was able to get all the skins sitting in the tower.

We had test program we were testing ideas with, for a brief period of time.  It was never meant to be a stand alone program.

Ahh that was a nice program, I was able to get all the skins in a blink of an eye rather then slowly download in game - I usually keep a copy of all the skins in a ZIP File (sounds, gunsights etc) just so if anything happens I can have it available again quickly.
I imagine all the skins are probably to large to post online as a zip file.
