A "regular" WW1 Night is a great idea.
We ham radio operators have such things to encourage participation and use of VHF and UHF frequencies that are rarely used and it works pretty well.
If more folks knew there was a concerted effort to be in that arena at a certain day/time many more may show up. Just don't do it on a timewhen USA people watch Saturday or Sunday football and Monday Night football.
We had a ham net that a YL (lady) set up for Monday Nights at 8:00 PM local--she wondered why no men showed up in the fall & winter....and never figured it out.
