January 9th: Tactical German Victory!
« on: January 10, 2002, 12:20:00 AM »
Der Volkischer Beobachter

"The resolute defenders of Courland have linked arms with their brothers from the West!  Victory is ours!  The Fuhrer announced today the awarding of the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves to General Heinz Guderian, leader of a Panzer attack that shattered the Bolshevik lines!

<<<<<<<<<<

Partial victory for the Germans in this one.  They have opened up a supply corridor for the Germans trapped in the pocket, but have not captured all the objective fields.

Congrats Luftwobbles...

I am going to leave the map as is in order to give the Germans a chance to fulfil complete victory conditions tommmorrow...

When I was on from about 10pm till 12am Central Time. It was an even fight; it varied around 6-8 on each side and most everyone was fighting over D69.

I was on early than that. Had a good battle for 52. They defended well and we barely got it finally.

Yeah I was the Ju 88 that finally broke the town at 52 down for my squaddie in the goon to capture. We had both just run over 47 and 50 up north before upping to drop 52 with you guys. I thought that Isolon was going to cause us some real problems when he started making passes on the troops running into 52.
