When i lived in NH our fire station sent an engine and crew to NY on a volunteer basis. I spent 22 days on that pile and can still remember the smell the taste and the feeling of helplessness.  This day is always gonna bring sadness to me and I am sorry but everybody has their own way of dealing with

I have been to the flight 93 memorial in shanksville pa and twice to ground zero as honor guard for the 5th and 10th anniversary.  I still would like to make it to the Pentagon's memorial.  You think its overblown, go to one of these sights on 9/11 any year.... look into the eyes of the kids of the victims.  Talk to the first responders who survived,  then say the same thing.

Pearl Harbor was how many years ago? Don't we still remember that?? Are people getting so complacent in their own worlds that they have forgotten what happened to all those innocent lives?? Can anyone tell me how old the youngest victims were and how many fathers, mother's,  brothers, sisters,  were lost??? Too many in my books.

USRanger thanks for your service and any who have served.

Im sorry for the rant but this day means more ti me because of  personal reasons.

If I offended anyone im sorry..

Watch the 102 minutes of 911 on the History Channel after work last night, all the raw footage they accumulated from various peoples video cams was amazing and strange how some people react in situations like that, some just know to get as far away as possible and others have to get as close as possible.

Whether you think you can or cannot, you are right!
