...I just come back from a few hours in the CT and I havn't had so much fun in AH since months (excluding TOD).

When I logged on, there was only 1 (one!) player logged on: the tuckster, who was patiently capturing fields all by himself. I did my best to spoil his effort, and this lasted at last a whole hour. Then some other players joined, and Tuck succeeded to steal the field just under my nose

. Bastige!

More and more players came, until I received the ultimate warning that it was time for me to log and leave: I augered my G6 trying to shoot down Tuck's C47...

I have cable access here at home but while out of town last week I tried to check the message boards on a dial-up modem and it seems all these signature pictures and squad logos do not help the speed with which to download. I literally started counting the bumps in the ceiling as some of the longer threads loaded. It was unimaginable.

MrRipley, don't you know that is what it normally takes to bring down an LA7...especially when flown by a good pilot? I guess the F4U. [Edit: I mean, the F4U-4. (You took pieces off my P38 once in an F4U-4 and I'm hoping it's somewhat of revenge. <g> )
