I can not count how many times my squad has handed the knights a piece of prime real estate, only to have the base re-taken because only a handful will help hold it or use it.
These bases are allways full up,never porked !!

Along the same lines of what Lusche.  It amuses me to no end when the Knight General's get all fired up because no one on Knights will play the way that they want to play.  If you really wanted to lead men to take bases, you would be in a squad that did that, you would organize your own squad, attracting like minded players and go for it.

I personally just love when we are hugely outnumbered, some general is whining incessantly about no organization and the he says, "The hell with Knights, I'm switching sides".  I actually had one of these guys say tom me recently, "Hartmann, you should be more of a team player, all you do is fly around shooting guys down!"  :O

I am amused.
Ltown was one of those when one day I tuned to his name on vox and respectfully let him know I don't give a damn what he wants me to do and it ain't my fault if you fail.

After that he watched me take a base with 3 guys.
Never got a comaint from him again.

Knits are a funny bunch...sometimes there is no one to help defend or even to be seen in flight...and other times they are there in numbers.....I do find all knits easy to get on with and they have way less attitude than the other two sides (Generals that is)Bish have the most....But that's just my opinion and I don't really get involved with the politics of countries...

Anyone can put together a 30 man mission and be successful, but few can put together a 6-10 man mission and execute it perfectly WITH no P51's or P38's, legit defenders, and true precision and follow through.

It took three of us take a large airfield today and there was a defender there the entire time.  6-10 is a horde.   :D

That is the way to go.

One thing I've seen to much as a knight is they everyone hit A26 or whatever base but when you show up with eggs you are the only one. In more than one mission I've said lets flatten the place, the reply, "no put eggs on town."

Other than FB's and Jayro (have I missed anyone) for the most part the Knits don't want to take bases.  Taking a base ruins a perfectly good furball :old:

And they love for the Rooks and Bish to try to take their bases as they can up and be fighting in 3.2 seconds :lol

Not everyone that plays is into the smash-and-grab base taking thing. Some just like to fight, no matter how the opportunity presents itself.

And most of those folks are on Knights. That includes KN.

All sides suffer and excel.  68th did a tour a few months ago as Bishop for a month and Rook for a month. We received a warm reception on both sides and it was a pleasure to fly alongside folks we've fought against for years.

Same problems and advantages on all sides. We had squad nights during our tour where we couldn't take a base for anything. Other nights we just showed up and the base was ours. I can tell you I was on for 6 map resets during our month on the Bishop side, I don't really recall one during our Rook month and I can only remember 1 this year for the Knights. These are just the times I'm on. I know all three sides have had more.

Seems to me all sides have both those that love to do nothing but fight and those that love to take bases. Bishops seem to have more of the latter with greater frequency on then Rook or Knight.
