The Gunfighters really had a fun time this past FSO. We relied on the wingman auto pilot to keep our formations tight and most of the guys in the guns. This worked great in all three frames, but especially in frames two and three where we weren't after hangers but did saturation bombing on strat targets. We broke the squad up into two flights and used a leader in each flight to be the only bombardier, the rest of the guys just dropped on there leaders command. This made it so everybody but the two bombardiers could man there guns and give defensive fire to the enemy.
It wasn't as accurate as if everybody would have been in the bombsite calibrating and doing there own drop. But was fairly successful and allowed us to keep our defenses up while on the bomb run.
