I used to use CH manager, but now I just direct connect my Throttle, Pedals, and Stick straight to the AH key mapping. I always had problems with CH manager and the interface. It was one more thing that could break. The only thing I miss is not being able to do macro commands.

Do you have a map file already created or are you looking for instructions on how to create and then load a map file?  In any case, this should help you and answer any questions you may later have.

In case you didn't notice you have to join the CH hanger forum before you can down load the link Ack Ack gave. Then you will have the permissions to download from the forum.

Edit:
As CH Control Manager is not intuitive when you first use it, the basics are:
Maps are stored in the Maps sub-directory
To actually use a map you have to first load it into the Control Manager using the "load" icon which opens up the map directory so you can see the maps. Then you have to download the map you select to the controller(s) using the "download" icon. Only then do the controller(s) start to use the Map. You only need to "Save" if you edit the Map or create new ones.

You can drag and drop the .map file to your desktop and just double click on it to load the .map file without having to open Control Manager.
