Films, Battle of Britain 2013
« on: October 19, 2013, 11:53:13 AM »
The He 111's of KG 53 being intercepted in frame 4 by a Hurricane big wing, shortly after crossing the coast of England.

This is what it's like on a bomb run for the He 111's.  Best viewed in 720p resolution from Youtube.  If you don't see option for 720p resolution, refresh the page might help getting that option.

Great video, Brooke.   :aok   Heard my name mentioned a few times LOL!   :lol

Just sent the link to a new friend we visited this weekend when he offered accommodation to anyone visiting a Flight Sim Show nearby.  We took him up on his offer and I was showing him AH last night.   :)

Very cool Brooke.... Kind of surreal when you look in the bomb site and see a fellow He-111 spinning to earth with a wing missing..... watching it later as opposed to when I was "IN IT" very different....

It has a lot more field of fire than the Ju 88.  For enemies in the back, it's got 2 guns that bear as opposed to 3 for the Ju 88, but it has 3 or more times the field of fire of the Ju 88.

Absolutely.  Coming up on target in bomb sight, hearing "Asterix is down!  Someone needs to take the left side!" and seeing his last He 111 spiraling down with no wing and him bail out.  Also, seeing Tudza's formation in my bomb sight hoping that we don't drift together so that he is in the path of my bombs.

I watched it in the Films and Screenshots Forum. Awesome sounds and like you said, field of fire is very good. I'll have to make it a point to try out the 111.

This was a most enjoyable event for me.
