Better reactionay modeling
« on: October 12, 2013, 04:24:56 PM »
Probably a stretch here but I'd like to see improved GV modeling as far as object contact. Watch this video of my favorite tanking game from about the 1:05 mark.

Tanks knock over trees. Larger ones slow'em down and hamper their turning a little while navigating over the fallen tree. Smaller thin trees get turned into tooth picks. I hit a small tree in a T-34/76 and got stopped cold from a full speed run.

I'd like to see the modeling much more authentic and detailed like T-34 vs Tiger.  But then I'm just nitpicking.

Trees cannot be destructible in AH because there are simply too many for the server to track.

Lower flubber content in the trees would be nice though.

If we get a lower flubber content, does that mean we can furball and fly through the trees also? Then we can shoot through trees too.

I hope to god not, I rely on those trees to shield my carcass.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

 :lol

While I would adore to have destructible trees, I understand why we cannot. Sucks, but I understand it.   :frown:
