More Ordnance Options for 190F-8
« on: October 19, 2013, 06:08:52 PM »
Without question AH's 190F-8 is missing some important bomb options that were common especially on the Ost Front.

First, the option to take 4/50kg bombs on a center line carriage.  Having the 8/50kg option would not only be historically accurate but it would be unique and it would open up another option for pounding dirt.

Second, the option to take 3/250kg bombs is missing as well.

Third, while I'm not exactly sure since none of my sources go in to detail enough to comment, I'd like to see the 30mm option as well.  What I don't know is if the 30mm used was for AT purposes for anti-personnel/equipment.  Hopefully someone else can chime in.

I really hope HTC will explore the 8/50kg option.   :pray

AFAIK the 30mm gondolas was a test only and not adopted.
The 88 in my name has nothing to do with nazis, skinheads or any other type of half-wit, nor with the "ideas" they support.

Don't forget the 1000kg bomb. If its the AP bomb, I imagine it would see a good bit of use as a CV buster.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

Or the 70kg bombs they used latewar, probably usable both underwing and on the belly adapter.

That too.  Putting the 1000 kg bomb under the 190F-8 would make it in to a late war Jr. Stuka.  :aok
