You have to use the Aces High film viewer to watch them. Then you can convert to avi or record the viewer with a program like fraps.

The film viewer itself has a facility to save as an .avi file which is a more common video format. Once you have your film in .avi format you should have more luck although personally I have found the AH .avi format not 100% compatible with other video programs I use. For direct recording of your flights exactly as you saw it Fraps is very good or as FLS has said use with the viewer.

If you use Fraps in combination with the film viewer you can get some excellent video as you can change your view perspective as you watch in the film viewer and capture those shots with Fraps especially if you are in full screen mode in the film viewer.
