It is hard for me to explain, but knowing that you guys have a love for aviation as I do, that promotes a kinship which is hard to find.

earl your a class act all the way and I have always admired and respected you not only for your actual military experience with these vintage aircraft that we all have so much interest in but the simple fact that your a good soul.

:airplane:  Thanks for the kind words! A GREAT BIG THANKS TO ALL THE GUYS IN HERE WHO HAVE MY WIFE IN THEIR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS!!! She is doing better, actually sitting upright in hospital bed and is now talking a little and knew who I was when I walked into the room with her. She actually took the spoon and fed herself some bites of Turkey for lunch!
Guys, this just proves what prayer will do! The Doc's gave her about a 25% chance of getting through this thing, and she has a long way to go before I can bring her home, but at least now, I have HOPE for the future.

Earl,

I want to thank you for the many years of friendship.  You sir, have been an inspiration to my family and it's been an honor to fly with you and the "Devil Dog's".  Please know the Lyn and I have prayed for you and Barb.  Should you need anything, your friends will be there.

Like I said in the O'Club thread that was started in support of you, I hope for the best possible outcome for you and your wife. You're a great guy on the bbs here, and I especially enjoy your posts in the aircraft forum. I'm also dismayed by rule#4 violations in a thread like this...
