Hi rez monitor vs. Large flat screen

What would be better for a single monitor solution- a 27" monitor @ 1440, or a large screen TV @ 1080P?  Distance between my face and the screen ~ 2 feet.  I have a EVGA GTX 780 vid card, so I should have no issues there.  BTW, EVGA GTX 780 cards had a big price drop last week

probably the 27 inch monitor but be careful either way. you're going to want a very low gtg response time under 5 seconds.
