Or a manned gun. Or a wirb or ostie. Or an 88. The B-25H has a lot of potential, but there's just so few opportunities to apply its firepower before you yourself go down in a flaming wreck.

The only gun on an airfield that can hit the B-25H at far range is the 88mm AA, the other guns the B-25H can snipe at will beyond the AA range, same if there are any flak panzies on the field.

The reason I placed it at the top for deacking.

Um... the Me410 can run circles around the B25H for de-acking purposes.  I know this is an opinion, but still.  The Me410's 50mm is flatter shooting, has faster follow up shots, and gosh darn it people like me.

The B25H is one of the last aircraft I'd take to de-ack a field.  75mm gun or not.  Remember, a single 20mm in the area and "puuf" the ack goes up in smoke.  No need to use a sledgehammer to kill a bug.

I think for de-acking the P39 is actually the best. It has a 37mm cannon, dives like a bat outta hell, and is fairly small compared to the twin engine planes most use for de-acking. Only problem I have with the plane is it burns fuel like a transfer truck.

Nothing wrong with using the 37mm HE (IL-2 uses AP), but again a single 20mm works just as well and it has a flatter trajectory, faster velocity, and dont forget the ammo load.  At worst, a Yak has 120 rounds of 20mm and at best it has 35 (?) rounds of 37mm.

I still say the 190F8 is the best perk free deacker. Not because it has some overwhelming firepower, but because its armored.

B-25H.  No other plane in this game can deack a base from the ranges the B-25H can and you don't need to score a direct hit.

the 37mm field guns can hit past 4.5k yds.

I've never seen a b25 hit a field gun I was in from 4.5k. They might try around 3k, but they ALWAYS miss. On the other hand, I've killed hundreds of planes at 4.5k with the 37mm field guns.
