Okay, I am getting a little bit irritated with the amount of dweebiness that has been going on the MA recently.

First of yall, I have been playing this game for many many years, I know how all the planes work respectively. I have noticed a lot of changes in the community since I have been back after a long 4 year break.

I understand that the concept of the game is to get kills and win the map. That's great, I am all for that!

Here is thing, if I am in a 1v1 fight with another opponent, and you deliberately come down and kill(pick) me that does not mean you PWNed me. Okay!!!!! Yeah thats great you got the kill on me. That doesn't mean you can claim over ch200 that you PWNed me cause you killed me. Especially after you ran away from me only to turn back around and pick me in another fight. Don't claim to PWN if you turn down my DA offer period.

I knew what/who this was about the 4th sentence in. Had a pretty good clue after reading the subject header.

I know how to fix this problem.
  • Detune 200
  • Chillax and enjoy the game
  • Squelch the PM'ers
  • Winning in the DA only means you DA well.  MA tactics require a little more thought
:salute

The reason I speak so highly of the DA is because I think it shows who really knows how to use ACM given starting in the same situation and plane as your opponent. The DA requires you use stall control, use defense tactics, plane handling, using different fighting styles, No HO, and learn maneuvers you don't see often in the MA. MA tactics require that you be good at using SA and aim to your advantage. But mainly the only MA tactic I have seen is BnZ style, run when you get in danger, and pick/gang to get a kill. Every now and then I do see a pilot who uses ACM properly and who uses BnZ tactics correctly. I feel like the MA doesn't do justice concerning the skill level of their overall knowledge of planes and styles of fighting in AH. Like I said, just because you pick me in a 1 on 1 fight in the MA doesn't mean you are good or use skill, it just means you took advantage of an easy target. Thats great! I know a lot of people who do that. But it does not mean you are good enough or capable of saying you PWNed or OWNed someone in AH.

It wasn't only midway,

it was 3 different people in the same day. I won't say names. I am just pointing out the correct way to use the word PWN.  It seems most people think just by saying it, they actually do, and that is definitely not the case. I am putting an end to it and calling it out.
