Slash wont like it or understand it cuz he doesn't fly anymore.  He just types  :bolt:
"Such is the nature of war.  By protecting others, you save yourself."

"Those who are skilled in combat do not become angered.  Those who are skilled at winning do not become afraid.  Thus, the wise win before the fight, while the ignorant fight to win." - Morihei Ueshiba

I hope your Dad likes it ren, but I dunno, it doesn't seem up to the standard of Band of Brothers. "Kassel, 1942" is just plain sloppy research, the collision sequence is ridiculous and, as has been pointed out, no masks at B-17 altitude is a joke.

I guess it just drives me nuts when media people get it so utterly wrong - the whole thing smacks of laziness and crass, cliched scriptwriting.

It's a shame that it looks so lame. One crewman tells the other to get his mask on and breathe and then they stand around with no masks on.  I switched to HD version, and I am glad I did so I could watch the first 30 seconds of black screen in HD.

guy was hyperventilating and panicking.  not that he needed the oxygen mask but it distracted him from his panicking state.
