Amateur Radio HF Coms
« on: November 25, 2013, 11:42:05 PM »
Back in Air Warrior some East Coast licensed amateur radio operators would say to heck with the antiquated voice comms in that game and got on 40 and 80/75 meter SSB.

It would be awesome to bring that back, nationwide on 40m SSB.

Offering any licenced amateur radio operaor, General or higher to get on 40m SSB.

We'll look for a frequency once a group is together.  At least 100 watts PEP, a gain antenna would even help.  USA and Canada especially.

Net frequency will not be available to non bish, sorry.  PLEASE come to the Dark Side.

Well, sure, other sides could listen in on a shortwave receiver...but propagation is such they can't hear everyone (especially those withing a few hundred miles of their location after dark) anyway.
