some way to score a base capture in attack mode

 there use to be a way... a long long time ago in a galaxy far away...and we still have the line in the attack score for it.....but no way to achieve it........would be nice to have a way to score a capture in attack,instead of just bomber or gv catagory.

you'd drop troops from goon, bail out of goon, re-up in a plane in attack mode. you get map room destroyed in the plane you are in.

hasn't worked for awhile. bombs/torps/troops/rockets disappear when you re-up now.

If it's not a transport plane the C47 is actually more of an attack vehicle than a bomber IMO

Fly over the maproom in a fighter in attack mode.  Bail out and run into the maproom.  Do this ten times in fifteen minutes or, bring nine friends.

Me thinks that category was put in to the coad a LONG time ago when many things were still of the unknown.

Ultimately, it is one those categories for the score hoars to test and test again to see of they can get the job done.  Currently, there is not a vessel that allows troops to be dropped while in "attack" mode.  So with that in mind... move on.

it has no weapons so a c47 cannot really "attack".  it's a transport.

No.  It was just an attempt to get alpini13 and nine of his friends to bail needlessly but don't tell him and we'll see if it works.

kvuo75 had the right answer but that only added an attack capture to the squads score, not the players, and only for one day.

The ability to score a base capture under attack mode was removed because it was being exploited by players and squadrons to increase their ranking.  However, the line in the scoring section wasn't removed.  The only reason people are asking for it is to get another way to help increase their score.
