I read "A Time to Die" a lot of stuff in it taken from one of the surviving sailors notebook, a great read.

His survival is quite impressive.  Stop and think of what he went through.  Just the darkness alone would be hard, but through in the lack of food, fresh water, and a dry spot to sleep.

My hat is off to him for keeping the faith. 

I'm thoroughly impressed by the guys tenacity and resilience, just struggle to underdtand how he attributes his survival to the almighty bt not the sinking of the ship
