Kursk Panther
« on: December 01, 2013, 01:38:55 PM »
This Panther was part of Pz.Abt. 52 during the Battle of Kursk, the Panther's combat debut. A mixture of an underdevelopment, poor crew training, mud, minefields and well dug in anti-tank defences combined to make this a debacle for the new tank. Most of the Panthers, including this one, were either destroyed by the Soviets or by their own crews as the Germans retreated.

The original vehicle was a Panther Ausf D but this is considered an acceptable substitution for our Ausf G.
