Cant Load Terrain to Build a mission
« on: December 17, 2013, 08:46:21 AM »
Now I have a new problem... of course. When I have the editor loaded I go to File then Mission Group Prop, and when I try to load a terrain (any of them) it doesn't load. One thing I did notice though is that there is a box at the top under the name asking for a Load Permission Password which I did not see in any of the help files, or Crabby's video. Can someone help me out here?

I have never seen that happen in my Windows XP environment (or even under LINUX with Windows emulation). It sounds like some kind of security system is interfering.

Somewhere in one of the patches/versions, something changed with the ME and if you have no previously saved mission for it to default to, it may not work.

I was able to duplicate the issues 9th was having. If you delete the AHEDMISS.cfg from the settings folder, the M.E. will stop crashing on opening but will still be unusable. After deleting the AHEDMISS.cfg   AND doing this....

...........we were able to get it to work.
