Has anyone heard of Paint.Net or used it?

yup...its no good.(well its ok for basic stuff)..use GIMP...also Free :aok

Yeah, most of the functionality in Photoshop is available in Gimp. Paint.net is pretty basic.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

From what I read it has a tutorial on it for newbies and has a forum also.  I had Gimp at one time but didn't have a clue on where to start ect.  Downloading gimp now.

all kinds of GIMP tutorials out there.....I have been using it for years so if ya need any help send me a PM :salute

Its actually a great program! For being free with a community that releases new plugin's its pretty sweet. Sure its basic, but most people who use any type of image/art program only ever learn it at a basic level. I used paint.net for 2 years. Currently using adobe photoshop and illustrator.  :salute
