Skuzzy let us know about a new one based off of Firefox.  It is called pale moon and can be found at palemoon.org It's a lite version browser.  Been using it for awhile now. Stable without any issues.

I like Pale Moon.  Uses the same plugins as Firefox, and it is faster than Firefox.

I am not too keen on the direction Firefox is going.

Pale Moon huh. I'll give it a try. I use Firefox for most, though I still have that Explorer junk.

Based on my customer feedback, Firefox is the best alternative after getting used to Internet Explorer - especially the older versions of it, up till IE8. Firefox can easily be set up to show bookmarks both in list and bar. The settings are easy to find and adjust for a little more safety. I, too, have migrated to PaleMoon after Skuzzy's suggestion. It behaves exactly like Firefox on the surface.

It seems that all browsers now tend to hide themselves in favour of the site content due to the size limits of small screens with poor resolution of the cheaper laptops and tablets. On a desktop with a fullHD monitor the vertical size can afford a couple of lines for an easy one glimpse access to the most used tools. Privacy is also one thing to consider. My liking of Google products has diminished lately because they've taken the Facebook way in connecting everyone and everything seemingly without notice.

The larger complaints I have rather then the browser itself. Is the way search e4ngines are working. Im finding more and more the search engines are giving me the results they feel like giving me. And not the results I'm looking for

I hope you're not talking about the adware search engines sneaking into your computer along with some downloads and updates? Some of them disguise themselves to look like their more reputable equivalents whose paid content is easy to recognize and skip.
